I was on the way to my car just after
the miracle legion reunion show
He had a small crowd of people standing around him
and luckily I knew them all
so I nervously walked right up to them
I said hi, and they said hey

And Mark looked right at me and said
Are you the guy who’s band I saw open up for the the Sawtelles in Springfield, mass?

Well the following day on my way to practice
I saw my friend Dan Greene he’s another local hero of mine
he’s the songwriter from the mountain movers and the butterflies of love
they gotta be two of the best new haven bands of all time

And I walked right up to dan
He was on his way to practice too
And probably in a rush
and I said,
I saw Mark Mulcahy on the street
in front of College Street Music Hall
I was on the way to my car just after
the miracle legion reunion show
I said Mark looked right at me and said
Are you the guy who’s band I saw open up for the sawtelles in Springfield, mass?

He said
